2nd Annual International Conference (AIC) 2023
Annual International Conference (AIC) is an international conference hosted by the Guidance and Counseling Department, Faculty of Education and Teacher Trainings, Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The chosen theme is “Reimagining Guidance and Counseling in the VUCA Era: Navigating Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity in the Field of Education”. Believe that this seminar will provide valuable insights into the evolving landscape of education and the vital role of guidance and counseling in supporting students’ well-being and success amidst the challenges posed by VUCA.
Related to these issues, AIC calls participants’ papers with subthemes: Sub Tema: 1) Safe space for the student to ensure sustainable development, 2) innovative Learning models 3) Technology and Digital Interventions in Counseling, 3) Diversity and Inclusion in Counseling, 4) Career Development and Vocational Guidance, 5) Mental Health and Well-being, 6) School Counseling and Student Support, 7) Counseling Ethics, and Professional Standards, 8) Counselor Education and Training, 9) Counseling Research and Evidence-Based Practices, 10) Collaboration and Interdisciplinary Approaches, 11) Policy and Advocacy in Guidance and Counseling, 12) assessment theories & methodology in education or guidance and counseling, and 13) character strengths in primary, secondary, and higher education, 14) design, implementation & assessment of innovative technologies in education – guidance and counseling.
This conference calls all participants to create and present an impactful idea that can be applied especially to Indonesian. This conference will provide a network for sharing experiences and knowledge between teachers, students, academicians, and education observers. The 2nd Annual International Conference (AIC) 2023 which was conducted this year will set up a target regarding participants in Indonesia. These participants can be involved as the presenters on the oral and paper presentations or can be attended as registered participants. This conference will be set up with online schemes to ensure the participants’ accessibility to being involved in this event.
In addition, the scientific paper collected from the potential participants will be reviewed by some reviewers who already have a good acknowledgment of ensuring the quality of chosen papers. The successful paper will be published at the 2nd Annual International Conference (AIC) 2023 registered conference proceeding indexed by Atlantis Press (with special requirements) and selected papers published in the International Journal of Applied Guidance and Counseling (IJAGC) https://ejurnal.mercubuana-yogya.ac.id/index.php/IJAGC/index
